VET Sport and Recreation

This qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge required for a career in the sport and recreation industry. It offers a pathway to employment in a variety of settings, including fitness centres, sporting grounds, leisure centres, and a community recreation facilities.
Students will develop the ability to deliver recreational services, work with some independence, and apply discretion and judgement within clearly defined plans, policies, and procedures.
Career pathways may include roles such as customer service officer or recreation officer in commercial, not-for-profit, community and government organisations.
