Course Description
This qualification provides students with foundational skills and knowledge needed for a career in sound production. Students will develop technical skills in recording, mixing, and editing sound for live and studio environments. They will learn to operate industry-standard audio equipment, use digital audio workstations, and apply sound production techniques across various music and media projects.
Career pathways may include rolessuch as assistant sound technician, sound assistant, studio assistant, or live production crew member. The course combines practical and theoretical training, giving students hands-on experience in sound production for music, film, and live events.
Assessments include practical, written, online, exams and completion of workbooks.
