Course Description
This qualification provides students with the foundational skills to support individuals through person-centred services in community settings. Work may involve day-to-day assistance or contributing to community-based programs. Students will develop essential skills through a combination of theory and practical training. This course provides a pathway into various areas of the community services sector, including Aged Care, Disability Support, Child Care, Youth Work, Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Support, Financial Aid and Refugee Services.
Assessments include practical and written tasks, and completion of workbooks.
