Subject Overview
VCE Applied Computing is the study of computer-based solutions to modern problems. It focuses on the strategies and techniques for producing digital solutions and how to protect them from ongoing security threats.
There is one Year 11 subject (Applied Computing) and two Year 12 subjects (Data Analytics and Software Development). Applied Computing in Year 11 introduces and prepares students for both Year 12 subjects. Students can study both Data Analytics and Software Development in Year 12.
