Course Description
This qualification provides students with foundational skills for roles in the screen, media, and entertainment industries, with a focus on game art development. Students will learn to create 3D environments, design characters, develop web pages, and animate in 2D. They will gain hands-on experience in ocncept art, modelling, texturing, and integrating their work into a game engine.
Game art is a rapidly growing field with applications beyond gaming, including architecture, product design, and film production, and film production, as well as emerging technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). Career pathways may include roles such as junior animator, game artist, 3D Model.
